What we do
Suicide continues to be a global health concern, affecting all continents and Lifeline Malawi (LLM) supports victims of Mental Health Crisis. We raise awareness, provide counselling, promote resilience and campaign for the decriminalization of suicide. Lifeline Malawi works on building capacity of Community Based Organizations (CBO) on mental health/psycho-social through trainings and community outreach initiatives.
Some of the objectives include;
- To ensure community resilience on Mental Health Crisis through participation, dialogue, engagement and self-responsibility;
- To support those who have been through mental health crisis with psycho- social support;
- To advocate for decriminalization of suicide.
