LifeLine Port Moresby
What we do
LifeLine Port Moresby is one of the oldest not-for-profit counselling organisations in Papua New Guinea (PNG), providing emotional support and addressing social issues confronting PNG communities. LifeLine offers telephone and face-to-face counselling as well as operating a refuge, located next to the largest established settlement area on Port Morseby.
LifeLine is the primary community-based service for women experiencing violence. PNG communities currently face significant challenges including widespread concern about how people have coped during and post the pandemic and how they come to terms with living with COVID-19.
Our working hours are 8.30am–4.30pm. Face-to-face counselling is available 9am–4.30 pm each Monday and Wednesday and telephone counselling: 9am–4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
